The desire to have a child is natural and for many conceiving a child is simple. Others may need to seek medical help to achieve their goal. This can be devastating on an emotional and psychical level. The shock of an unexpected event such as not conceiving naturally can sometimes lead to disbelief and serious questioning. Often people who are coping with difficulties turn to family and friends but this area of fertility is not easily understood by others. Over the past decade as a fertility specialist I have had the privilege of helping and supporting hundreds of people through this difficult time.<\/p>\n
Most relationships at some stage experience difficulties. These challenges can sometimes lead to a lack of communication and unresolved arguments. If unattended to, feelings of resentment and despair can develop. Couples are frequently too close to their problems to be able to resolve them without external help, guidance and assistance. I have the knowledge, skills and expertise to work with you to identify what it is that needs changing.<\/p>\n
As an IACP accredited supervisor I provide supervision to other counsellors, psychotherapists and health workers in the area of General Counselling. I also offer specialist supervision in the area of Fertility on a one-to-one or group basis.<\/p>\n
I facilitate training CPD workshops on \u201cCounselling Clients with Fertility Issues\u201d for counsellors, Psychotherapists, Psychologists, Social Workers and other health professionals countrywide.<\/p>\n
